A. minatrix update 2/28

I have been trying to breed A. minatrix for a good four or five years with absolutely no luck. I was initially going to sell the breeding group on Black Friday but decided to keep them for one last try this season. So far the male has bred with two out of our three girls and managed to escape unharmed.

Special thanks to Julia for sending us her mature male.

A. versicolor eggsac update 2/28

Versicolor update 2/28/13

All I can say is BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited for our first eggsac of the year from our A. versicolor female "Mona Lisa."

"Lisa" is a younger female a little larger than average for her age at about 5.5" She has beautiful vibrant coloring. This is her first eggsac and the babies look AWESOME! We are very proud of her! We expect the babies to be ready in 3-4 weeks. Hopefully I'll be able to get some video of everyone molting to 2i in a few weeks. Stay tuned!

Here is Mom:

And the sole father of the slings "Mr. #1"

I can't wait to start raising some of my own. Many years ago a little blue versicolor captured my heart and brought me into the hobby. I still get giddy when I see those bright blue babies. I love 'em!
