This is my favorite picture for today. This "Green Bottle Blue" has such rich color it would be hard to take a bad picture of her!
The photo below has not been altered in any way. This is exactly how it came off the camera. The female molted about two weeks ago and is approximately 26 months old. She has some of the richest color I've ever seen in a GBB.
This Psalmopoeus reduncus (Costa Rican Orange Mouth) 3-4" FEMALE was recently posted for sale without a photo, what a shame! She is so beautiful, although a little camera shy. I love her metallic gold carapace.
There are a few taranutlas we're trimming from my personal collection as I need to make room for spring breeding projects. Here is one of them an Ephebopus murinus (Skeleton Tarantula) female. She is half-way between her baby and adult colors and was too pretty not to photograph.
Jamie's pet chicken (Ron Bird-gundy) wonders if that M. robustum tastes as good as it looks.
